Smile '05 XKR cab owner - new member introduction

Hello!
I have dreamed about Jaguar XJS since 1981 but always owned more practical cars. But 6 months ago finally, after sooo many years of consideration + "upgrading the dream" to a newer model, I got myself this beauty that I just love; a darkgrey/blue 2005 XKR cab. So now I have 2 cars: one practical car and one wonderful sportscar.

The XKR was imported from Germany to Sweden in 2016 and I am the second owner in Sweden. It has been slightly unloved over the years but I hope to change that as much as I can. I am planning to make improvements and have started by changing all breaks, refurbishung leaking gearbox etc. Not very cheap but now it runs a lot better! It feels great, together with the fact that this spring we had more sunny days than I can remember in this country. Amazing!

Looking forward to lots of reading, communicating and learning in this forum.

Thank you and bye bye for now!

Welcome to the forum MyXKRJag,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Did you try to put a photo in your forum Signature? I can see a left code there which isn't doing anything.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thanks to all of you!

Regarding photos;
I'll log in from another device and chose photos to insert. (I cannot reach all my pics in this iPad. When I tried to put in a photo as avatar, it was turned...)

I'll update it later today.

Just imagine how it would look if you got that V12, HAHAHA.
