1973 Jag Owner from SC
Hello all,
My name is Patrick, and I am 25 years old located in the Charleston area of South Carolina. I inherited my grandfather's 1973 xj12 after he passed recently. He loved cars and his baby was a his custom restored 55 Studebaker, looked like the batmobile. We worked on many projects together but we primarily did wooden boat building. Im not super knowledgable with metal working and engines like he was. He honestly could make/fix anything, the ultimate craftsman. This car needs work, primarily paint and interior. I know mechanically he kept it in great condition just never got to finish restoring it. Everything is all original and all there. I hope I can learn from you all to get this car where my grandpa wanted it and make him proud.
Cheers.

Thanks for the support and encouragement. It wont be long until i start asking questions like where should i begin with this restoration. In the mean time i wanted to share some pics of the xj12 and his 55 Studebaker commander.
Yea man the thing is a beast. He basically took the old Studebaker body and modified the shape of the fenders. Also chopped the roof down 4" and made a few other custom modifications. Then he placed an old cadillac eldorado 8.2L engine in it.
