1992 XJS Door Lock issue & Rear Spolier Wanted !
Yes, Hello Everyone !
I am the Proud owner of a 1992 Jaguar XJS V12
I simply LOVE it so far......Having drivers side door lock issues at the moment, but will tell you that in a moment !
I am looking to add a Rear Spoiler or "wing" to the Trunk Lid, but cannot seem to find a Reasonably priced one, oh and one many in the United States !
Can ANYONE steer me in the Right direction on where to find one ??
OK, Now about the Drivers door issue....
When I first purchased the car, the Drivers side would not lock from either in Inside OR outside of car. The "power assist actuator (at first) did not work until I took the door panel off and manually move the actuator up and down, then it started working ! All good, but when I tried Un-Locking the Drivers door, the Key will not turn to the left to Lock AND I cannot open the door form the Inside of the car either. It DOES seem like "Something" is Binding Up.
I Tried disconcerting the Actuator and move the mechanism by hand. Tried (with help with key in lock on outside) to do "something". NO LUCK
I cannot open the door OR Unlock the door either from the Inside OR Outside !!
Can SOMEONE ...HELP me PLEASE !! ??
