We (my wife and I) bought our new ride... a 2005 Jag XJ8L 4.2liter at a New Orleans Auction and like most auction cars, it has issues. The body and interior is BEAUTIFUL and we love the powerful ride and smooth handling. The motor has issues which we will hopefully find a cure in the appropriate category in this forum. As a start we will be looking for a Jag mechanic here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Any Jag folks on the MS Coast? The "Cruzin the Coast" gathering finished week before last with over 7,000 classic, show, and interest car entries here and it was a great time. I was 18 yrs old (1969) when I sat in my first Jag (a V-12 two seater) in a dealership in Biloxi, MS and always wanted one. Other than that I will be looking forward to learning more about the Forum and maybe find other Jag folks in our area.

So, the V12 bug bit ya way back. A V8 is getting there, only 4 more cylinders to go.
