Default 2007 XJ8 front end problem

Recently driving when I heard a scraping sound when turning right from driveway. Thought the undercarriage was scraping against a high spot of asphalt and went on. Happened again the next time I drove it. Checked the right front tire to find it rubbing against the edge of the wheelwell and had actually bent the edge outward. What could cause this? Shocks, suspension? I have to drive about 30 miles to the nearest repair shop and I don't know what to expect. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums.

I suggest a quickie re-ask in the XJ8 (X350) Tech Section. Down the home page a little further.

They will know, and it is possibly something very simple.

Good luck.
