I'm very new to Jaguar ownership. Purchased my 08/09 X Type Sport Premium a couple of weeks ago for my daily driver. Stunning example in Ultimate Black with tan leather interior.
I also have a 1985 Ford Capri 2.8 Injection Special which I show.

The X-Type will make the daily commute less of a chore and very comfortable. Possibly seems a bit slow next to the Capri or does my memory of them back in the 80's flatter the performance in retrospect?

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

I took possession of my 2003 X Type 2.5 in November. I have always wanted one and living in The State of Ohio, wanted something with AWD capability. Mine is green (not sure if it is BRG or Emerald) with a tan interior. Options: 17" x 7" rims, dual power seats, back up sensors, Navigation and heated seats. I added the mesh/Supercharged grill. I drove a Premium (formerly VDP) while visiting my Brother in Leesburg VA and almost bought it. Enjoy your Jaguar! Bill here in Wooster USA Ohio
