Just purchased (used, obviously) a 2010 XK convertible. I purchased two 30 pin/lightning adapters from Apple--both with and without a cord--which links audio to the car with no problem using the "ipod" port in the center armrest compartment with the original Jaquar connector, BUT, doesn't charge the phone. Interestingly, when I plug the phone directly into the USB port using an original Apple cord or an Amazon cord--which work in my other cars and home outlet--I initially hear a "bing" and momentarily view the green battery charge symbol in the center of the screen, but no charge bolt in the upper right corner of the phone and the phone dies without charging.

It gets better...While waiting to receive the original Jaguar connector with the "Jaguar" plug on one end and the 30 pin plug on the other, I obtained a Jaguar plug with a lightning plug on the other end of the cord to directly link the iPhone without an adapter. That would be the perfect solution...if it worked. Well, no problem with recharging. That worked fine. But, no audio. I contacted the vendor who told me that the connector would not accommodate an Apple product beyond ios 10.2. So, charge without audio and audio without charge, USB port won't charge...only option to charge is the cigarette lighter. But, no audio.

Anyone have a solution?
