Default Another "New Guy" intro

Greetings,

I've decided to look seriously for an extra clean XK8. Long time car guy with long term BMW ownership. The mid 2000s six series don't do it for me and I've always admired the XKs so I'm about to shop. I've been lurking on reading the FAQs here and decided to join as this seems to be a gret forum and source for info.

I do have a very general question; will the XK give me enough headroom at 6'5"?

Regards,
Bruce

Welcome to the forum Bruce,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

We have a few members your height and taller. Most don't have a problem with the headroom but some do complain about the legroom.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR FAQ's so there's no need for a link from me.

Welcome bhurst
There are still a lot of nice XK8 out there, hope you find a good one. I'm only 6' but i fit fine. The coupes have a bit more head room than a convertible with the top up. Try one on a long test drive before you buy. Driving a car that you don't fit properly is like wearing tight shoes, you might look good but it's not worth it.
