Another New Guy from Ohio 1999 XJR
Saying a quick hello to all the great Jaguar community members . I'm a new member who recently purchased a 1999 XJR with only 52k. I think I researched every XJR in the country before concluding this was "THE ONE"
Price was fair for this super clean low mileage beauty. The 4 hour drive home after purchase confirmed it was everything it was advertised to be. Even the headliner was perfect . LOL
Tried the sport mode a few times on the turnpike. OH YEAH! This car would make my Z06 vette work hard for a victory .
I have been in the car business for 35 plus years and have driven many a nice rides. Very few make me say WOW. I knew this one would and it did. Kudos to all the dedicated owners who keep these great classics roadworthy and beautiful.
Not a whole lot on the to do list yet but I look forward to sharing tips with veteran techs on future projects. Out for now.

Think I misposted my intro newbie thread in the wrong category. I read lots of posts here while doing pre purchase research . I found the forum very helpfuland informative. Thank you .
I thought as a new owner of a 1999 XJR I would join up . I will work on the whole signature, gallery thing as i learn to navigate this forum.
