Default New Owner of 1999 XJR

Hello all! This is my introduction to the forums after the purchase of my newest car!

After a multi-year long search for the right car to be listed locally, I bought a 1999 XJR with a full engine swap completed to remove the Nikasil lined cylinders.

In the X308 subforum I intend to tell the whole story of the car, and outline the plans for her in the future. Until then, I'll be posting around to be allowed to get some pictures of the admittedly ugly clearcloat, but otherwise beautiful car.

In time I will hopefully get to learn the ways of other Canadians with these cars to find affordable parts suppliers and how to get through our rough winters in these cars!

Hopefully for all the advice I hope to get here, I can return it all back at some point as well. Thanks for the welcome here!

- Scott

Welcome to the forum Scott,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
