Asia Pac Newbie
Hi All, I've been a consistent lurker for a while.
I have followed AVOS and CAMBO351's builds in particular over the years.
There are a number of Jaguars in our family (Between my father and myself) including in no particular order,
Mark 2 race car (previous group N front runner),
a custom built tarmac rally Etype low drag replica,
3 low drag replica's in the build, including wide angle heads and one with an aluminium block (oh yes!),
a lovely manual Mark 9 (two tone olive green over cream),
a street Mark 2 3.8 litre manual on wires (high compression built motor still being run in),
an XK140 roadster with an 8 year old rotisserie restoration,
an S type with a 4 speed automatic GMH gearbox upgrade (nearly mechanically complete), and an ice blue immaculate but original one owner 420G.
I have two w116 mercedes Saloons, a C class with a 2Jzgte engine conversion that has 340 hp at the wheels,
a 323i manual e46 BMW for the wife, with a Toyota Prado for offroad duties, with a Jza80 toyota supra that is built for tarmac rallies and fast road circuits (600hp low boost, 750hp high boost at the wheels).
I am here because I have wanted an XJR for a while, and will be replacing the big HP merc and smaller BMW with the one car as having so many has become 'troublesome' on the home front.
Cheers, DJ

Welcome to the forum DJ,
A few years! That's almost gone beyond lurking to stalking.
No need for links as you'll know your way around.
Enjoy the search for the right XJR and continue to enjoy the forum.

Hey DJ, so you made it then, welcome on board mate.
See from your sig that it's an X308 XJR on the shopping list now? What happened to the XJR6? I bet the V8's with Avos' Twin-Screw changed your mind

Don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but the KB's from Avos' kit are pretty heavily modified. The housing needs some machining and they use a custom snout which is Avos' own design.
Get in touch with him about pricing (it's not discussed openly) you will be surprised, it's not as expensive as people think. For the Stage 1 at least anyhow...
