Default Back in a Jag

Hello all,

My name's Dan and I recently picked up an 2005 Jaguar S-Type R. She's Jaguar Racing Green with the two-tone Black/Tan Interior and Aluminum accents. This is my second STR, selling the previous 2004 about 6 years ago. The 2005 model was always my favorite with the face lift and retained painted scheme on the Brembos. This one was about 1/3 the cost and I'm handier with a wrench this time around so I expect low(er) running costs (besides gas). Still a blast to drive though. Its stall mates are a 1995 Porsche 968 Cabriolet w/ Design 1 Racing Supercharger and 2006 Cayenne Turbo S so it fits right in with the forced induction theme.

Welcome to the forum Dan,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Mid West Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/usa-mid-west-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.

Nice fleet, but ONE stands out more than the rest.

Thanks for all the welcome comments! I'm looking forward to learning more about these great cars (I didn't Realize Ian Callum had a hand in the face lifted S-Type until just last night while doing some reading on here). Also eyeing some upgrades (looks like Mina Gallery just added a "Performance Air Intake Tube Package" to their site)!
