Bear with me as new to forums
Hello all, if my spelling and grammar leaves a lot to be desired then hopefully i can counter it with years of experience of owning restoring tuning and race preparing Jaguars of all types.
I've owned at least one of every model fom !975 to 2000 and various others from earlier on (xk120 E-types Daimler ds420 etc)
I now have a couple of cheapies for everyday use (X-Type 2.0d Sport 198000 miles S-Type 3.0 Sport Manual ) cost under 1k each!
I have an XJR6 and a V12 XJS convertible for 14years and 24 years respectively
The S-Type is currently off the road after an engine failure of 100% my own making and as its the best car i have ever owned (there have been/still are lots of others), i'm definitely going to replace it.
Im hoping that the knowlege of the earlier models could be swapped/combined with what ive gained on the later cars while attempting to fit phones and integrated audio systems.
I am happy to answer questions on pre 2000 cars but not always tell you how to fix them ! (cars never break without human intervention!)
