Default British Expat with 2 Jags

No it's not John Prescott!! This is Tom from Santa Monica, CA. originally from Birmingham UK. I have a 1996 X300 and a 1988 Hess & Eisenhardt XJS convertible. Have had 3 Jags so far, or 2 1/2 as the one I just sold was a 1974 XJ6L lumped with a Chevy 350. I'm now a purist and Jag snob!! LOL

Welcome to the forum Tom! Nothing wrong with declaring your new purist stand on vehicle ownership. We hope you stake yourself out a small spot amongst the group of your peers. Have fun, and dive right in whenever you like.

Welcome to the forum Tom,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar Forums.

Follow this link XJ X300 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X300 section and this one XJS - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS section for advice, information and to post your own contributions. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Western Region section by following this link Western US - AK CA NV OR UT HI WA ID - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham

Enjoy the forum.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Thanks everyone. I was kind of joking about being a purist, after all the most recent mechanic called my Hess and Eisenhardt 'the worst car Jaguar ever made' and it's not really 100% factory

Tom,

Follow the same procedure as you did to add vehicle details to your Signature.

1. go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature.2. scroll down to the bottom of the screen:

British Expat with 2 Jags-sig_3.jpg

3. in the Upload Signature Picture box, select the location of the pic you want to use. It can either be a link to OnLine storage such as Photobucket or uploaded from a folder on your computer using the Browse button.

4. NOTE the size limits:

British Expat with 2 Jags-sigpic.jpg

5. click on Save Signature button.

Two images in the SigPic is restricted to the Moderator team. You could photoedit your two pics into a single image........

Thanks for your response. I guess I'll stick to one car in my avatar and one in my sig for now.
