Not sure if I'm doing this right but a new thread I was looking for as an introduction.
My name is Colin Bogue and I have a 2007 S Type 3Ltr Jaguar which I purchased from my fathers estate (3 brothers) which at the time had only done 60,000K's and now almost 90,000.
I live in Hawera, South Taranaki, NZ and am a qualified mechanic but old school before computers. The accelerator sensor was replaced just before I acquired the car as it would just cut out on my Dad and he was in his 98.7th year and not a good thing to happen.
I have always liked Jags as I had worked on a few while mechanicing in the 70's=90's, but computers are a baffle to me unfortunately. 1997-99 I had an XJ6 Daimler Sovereign but had to part with it before leavin NZ to live in Sarawak (East Malaysia) formally known as Borneo
If there is anything else you need to know just ask.
