Great group. After a lot of German and some Italian/Japanese sports cars, I finally let my wife talk me into a Jag because "they're so beautiful" "Yeah: fat, slow, and unreliable too" So, to humor her, I studied up on Jags and found that I was wrong on all accounts for the late 90's and forward cars. I ended up with a perfect black on caramel 2007 XKR coupe with 14k miles. Dang, what a great car. Fuggabout the Porsches! It's really nice to drive a sports car that you don't see every day in Silicon Valley and is comfortable/luxurious as well as fast.


I retired from 42 years of product design at Hp last year and am happily restoring old Brit bikes, woodworking, traveling, and corrupting the grandkids. I'm looking forward to sharing Jaguar interests on Forums.
