Cassette popup storage broken

Cassette popup storage broken
Hello Jaguar fans and owners!
I am brand new owner of old??? (2001) S-type in "great" condition except some oil leak and few other cosmetic things broken like Cassette pop out storage. I do not owe any cassette to play from so I thought when is already broken plus useless to put in that hole something else like cup or cell phone holder, or anything useful besides useless broken cassette storage. I can glue cassette storage plate to frame and call it done. Any idea, link, help will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Cassette storage?? I haven't even seen a cassette since I was a wee lass! Rip the shards out and do something that's actually Useful with that space!

"Old" oh boy, that is not old.
Both mine are that vintage, and I simply cannot get my head around the "newer" ones at all.
I saw one here a while back with a phone holder "glued" to the front face of that drawer, and all in all, it looked OK and functional.
Lots of ideas in the S Type section.
