Checking in with a 1992 XJS - Seattle
Greetings.
We just added a 1992 XJS into our stable.
It is all original down to its tires (which is bit of a problem) .
Looking fw to being part of the community.

Congratulations on your new XJS!
Yes, I can imagine how 25 year old tires are a problem.
First month of my ownership of Nix I blew a 10 year old tire (had no idea it was that old, still had rubber whiskers!) on a curve at 70mph. To the car's credit there was no drama, only a quick stop.
You'll want to get those tires updated Immediately!

Welcome to the forum TTG*,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJS forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Enjoy the forums.
