Connecticut for now
29yr (female) vet, 9yrs USMC, 20yrs TN Air Guard. Aviation Maintenance, then Facility Maintenance. Currently working for the federal gov't, Dept of Navy. Hoping to transfer. I'm interviewing about once a month. Looking for a raise before I retire. Two grown sons I love, oldest just deployed. Youngest is with me trying to get his life together.
Mostly into horses, thus the user name (riding style). I volunteer at a Standardbred Rescue in NJ and enjoy getting away from CT for the weekend a couple times a month.
Recently went to USVI-STT to work with FEMA, disaster relief. Really enjoyed that.
Driving an old 2001 Isuzu Rodeo Sport. Gets me up and down the road.
Purchased a 76 XJS. Not in good shape. I joined here to figure out what to do with this car.
I'm also a member of a horse forum and a coal stove forum.
