Welcome.

Someone in your market area will have much better contacts than I would from down here.

The Alpine radios used in the X300s were notoriously problematic. I wish you better luck than I had. I went thru several repair attempts at a repair station that was [in theory] 'approved' by Jaguar. No joy. Eventually I just built up a small stockpile of used radios to swap out when problems occurred.

As a bit of a nit-pick, "Bedford" isn't much to go on when posting on an international forum. Bedford, Ohio? Bedford, Virginia? Bedford, UK?

Welcome aboard, though

Cheers
DD

Welcome to the forum AnthonyCharles,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I've deleted your two identical posts from X305 forum. Do NOT multiple post the same question across forums.

I found a number of UK car radio repairers with a Google search for 'classic car radio repair' including some who also offer an upgrade service for FM and/or iPod connection.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
