It very much depends on the model ......? Two functions that can be controlled by this device are lighting 'off' delay or seat heaters.

Hi Graham, I have a seen on Ebay, a Jaguar XJS Facelift Engine management timer DBC3203, I wanted to know what it is for?
My car is a 1996 Jaguar XJS 4.0 convertible

I won't hazard a guess at the precise function of this component on an XJS but our knowledgeable and helpful members in that model forum will certainly know.

Thanks Graham, I might just do that !!

This is my fourth Jaguar I have owned, the first was a 1963 MKII 2.4, the second was a 1965 'S' 3.4 ( there is a argument, do you say Jaguar S, or Jaguar S Type ) ?
The third was a 1971 XJ6 4.2, unfortunately it was stolen. And I have now

a 1996 XJS 4.0 Auto Convertible, and I bought a really nice set of BBS RS wheels for it.
I also have a 1986 Rover SD1 Vitesse, which I have had more than thirty years.

The usual naming is S Type without the hyphen for the 60's model and S-Type with the hyphen for the 1999-2009 model although Jaguar were never consistent in following this for brochures etc.

Your XJS looks in superb condition and in my favourite colour combination. Most of my Jaguars have been shades of blue.

Hi Graham,

On Saturday 3rd June, I will be going to the '' Swiss Classic World '' in Luzern, the event is on for three days.
Because I am a member of the Jaguar Driver Club Switzerland, we, my girlfriend and I were to able to get free admissions for one day.
