Greetings all. I've been trolling this site for a little while because I'm likely to pull the trigger on a '97 XK8. A 37k miles it looks beautiful but I'm sure it has lots of work to be done, so here I am. Tolling. I'm in Maryland and have a powdercoating business. I've also got a dune buggy for sale I guess. Don't need 2 summer cars.

Welcome to the forum Powdercoater,

As you've been lurking for a while, you probably know your way around here but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. With a '97, think 'tensioners' when checking the vehicle.

You may also like to visit the US Mid Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-atlantic-md-va-dc-de-wv-65/ to find other members in your region.

Hope the deal on the XK8 works out.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
