Exclamation Engine rising in T when turned off

I have a 2020 E-Pace with less then 2000 miles.
Sometimes when I turn the engine off, the temperature rises quite a bit after a while. Last time it did that, 2 hours after the engine was turned off, the hood was so hot that I could barely keep my hand on it.
But everything was fine when i parked it and turned it off 2 hours befoere.

I brought it to the dearlship 3 times already, they change a sensor and added coolant the first time, but since then, they say it is fine or normal since no error code or lights pop up in the dashboard.
I have been told that the engine runs hot, and that when you turn it off the heat that was evacuated by the cooling system stops and that the heat then build up, that is why the negine gets that hot.
Don't know if anyone experienced a situation like this - info/advise would help
Thank you
Stephan V

Welcome again Stephan,

I thought other E-Pace owning members would have replied to this question in the E-Pace forum before now. ......

Welcome to the Forums.

Not the Tech section, but, engine bay heat rise after shutdown is normal, and some cars, brand matters not, are more noticeable than others.

Good luck.
