Hi: Last night I accomplished my 40 year dream by purchasing a 2005 Jaguar Racing Green XKR Coupe. Ever since I saw the E-type ad on the back of Road and Track in 1961 I have been in love with Jags.

I have been looking for an XK-8/R for 5 years that was what the right car (condition-mileage) and I am like a 16 year old kid getting his first car.

This board has been a great source of information and I look forward to owning my Jag for a long time!

"Bobert" is a nickname a former boss of mine gave me so I go by that on all of the car boards I am a member....

Good to hear you found useful information here to help with finding the right car. That means there's definitely no need to give you a link to the XK8/XKR tech section.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi: Why when I click on anything such as the photos section am I getting you do not have permissions message...is their a setting I or you need to change...Thanks--Bobert

 

There's a few restrictions on new members.

Until you have 3 Days membership AND a minimum of 10 Posts, you can't use forum Private Messages, set up a 'garage' or open PDF's, pics and videos stored on the forum servers.

The full membership is automatic once the Days and Posts are achieved.
