Just bought a 1988 XJS V12 mpi with 45000mi. Judging by what I see, seems like a lot more than 45k mi on her. Vehicle record shows 4 owners and the mileage, well I guess it was a hard drive from 1988 until today.
In any case I have a lot to learn about this car before posting any substantive questions.
The trunk/boot has been disaster-ed and I need a diagram of how to re-assemble the fittings. (The little carpeted pieces). This also applies to the trim that runs from the drivers side dash, over the door and finishing in the back seat area. Mainly the attachments (clips or whatever) seem to be missing. Where do I get them?
It's a start to renewing this classic car.
