First Time Owner
My name is Michael, and its my first time owning a Jaguar. I had been thinking about buying one for a while - and it had to be one with a leaper. So I bought a 2007 XJ8 with about 73,000 miles in mid March. Brings a smile to my face every time I see it.
I have been lurking on the site for a while, made a few (hopefully) relevant posts in the last couple of weeks, learned a great deal from reading other posts, and finally I am introducing myself. At the moment I split my time between Florida's Gulf Coast and the Washington DC area. The Jag is my Florida car! It came good condition with the suspension converted to coil-overs - but the air suspension electrics etc. still in place. A few things here and there to sort out, and I am always debating whether to have a go myself, or get a professional to do it.

I can see you've already found the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. Your post on fitting Type-S solar powered backup camera had been automatically locked for moderation. No problem with the content so I've unlocked it.
DiY or professional - always have a go yourself.

Thank you. Actually, I have been in the X350/X358 forum - for my model car. Weirdly, although you've unlocked the content on my review of the Type-S camera it does not show when I load the post...
