Default Former Jag Owner looking again.....

Had to sell my 97 XK8 a couple years ago and I'm now looking to purchase another 97-06 XK preferably an XKR. My search for a new car has brought me here as a new member looking for information on the XK8s and XKRs. A lot of good information here. Please bear with the newbie.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to hear you're now able to get back to Jaguar.

From previous ownership of a '97, you'll know the issues on the early XK8/XKR. Plenty of information and advice available on XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section.

Enjoy the search.

Good to have you with us.
Graham has said it all, happy hunting!

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Graham and Norri Thank you! I'm looking forward to owning an XK again. I have updated my signature as Norri suggested. I have added a picture of my former car as well. For as long as I've been on the internet I've never joined a forum before so this is a learning experience.

Jim,

Thank you for the upgrade and welcome. I appreciate the patience and tolerance. I have been interested in cars my whole adult life and I find that most car enthusiasts are great people. I look forward to learning a lot here.

Default XKR Portfolio Conv

Mark I know you were looking for up to a 06 XKR... I do have a 08 XKRS Portfolio Conv with 8k miles on it. I am working for a Jaguar? Land Rover dealership in Seattle area. I too am new to this site. I figured since I bought a new XJ I would try it out and maybe learn something new and even earn some business. Let me know if I can help Mel (425) 640-9222

I am happy to say that I am a former Jag owner no more! Picked up a 2002 XKR 4.0 Convertible this past Thursday. Color is Quartz with an Oatmeal interior. A little less than 51,000 miles on it after the driving it this weekend. I am in LOVE once again! These are such beautiful cars!!!

Mark,

Congratulations.
A superb colour combination and a good Model Year to go for as it's past the early engine issues.

Enjoy it.
