Default future F-Type owner - Maryland

Good day folks! I am new to the jaguar world but not new to cars. I have started looking at the market for used V8 F-types. In my case if I continuously search for one particular car for more than a month I usually end up buying one. I go through phases of complete indecisiveness when it comes to picking the right make/model. One week it may be a C7 z06 the next week I may entertain the idea of a R8. I just keep on coming back to the Ftype V8. The exhaust note is intoxicating and I feel it's just a ton of car for the money.

One major thing that concerns me is the resale value of these cars. I have owned a couple of lightly modded 911 turbos where I was able to recoup most of my money when they sold. I am looking to purchase something 2 - 3 years old and hope to not get hit over the head too hard when/if that time comes to sell.

Cheers!
Matt

Welcome to the forum Matt,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Console yourself with the thought that the original buyer has already taken the big hit and be prepared to see a significant drop year on year unless you intend keeping it for a decade or more.

Welcome.

Good luck on all counts, especially the resale $$, that is as fickle as horse racing.
