Default G'day

Hi All, thought I better sign up as I've already used some info on the board....
I have a 1964 Daimler 2.5 V8 that I've had since 1993. For the last 12 years it has sat in my shed neglected due to the constraints of life... kids, work, sleep../..
I've decided sleep is over rated and I'm determined to get the car (named Rupert) back on the road.

Well I drained the fluids, new filters/luids / water etc, put a new battery in, a couple of new hoses and a few minor bits and pieces and it fired up pretty much straight away.

Master brake cylinder was a bit jammed but freed up of once I pulled it apart and gave it a clean.

At the moment am waiting for new rear brake Cylinders as both were pretty bad. (had done the front ones in about 1998 but never touched the back ones except for pads).

Anyway look forward to reading and posting some more.

Cheers
Jason

Welcome to the forum Jason,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - Victoria/Tasmania Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/australia-victoria-tasmania-94/
to find other members in your region.

Good luck with the project and enjoy the forums.

Graham
