Hi to all the members. I have had a fondness for the vintage Jaguars since I was a very young child. A friend of the family used to take me out driving in his series I E type. I was fortunate enough to get a ride in a 1955 D type around the Summit Point circuit in West Virginia. I acquired my first Jaguar, a 94 XJ12, a few years back by trading a 98 VW Passat for it. I hated the VW being the worst car I ever had and just wanted to be done with it. The XJ12 runs fantastic but is more of a doner vehicle than a restoration candidate. I am looking at an XJS to swap the drivetrain into. Cheers!
