as you all know the Great Enzo Ferrari himself described the E-type as the most beautiful car in the world, by the way he lived in Modena Italy.
So I thought it was most appropriate to collect, last year on Nov. 20th, my "new" 2009 XK 3.5L convertible in a main car dealer in Modena, the hometown of Enzo Ferrari !
What a way to start my hopefully very enjoyable XK ownership !
So far the car has been marvelous, it has a white body and Caramel interiors, 19" wheels, and boy that rorty V8 sound.....
My daily car is a 2012 MB CLS 250 CDI, another car with a wonderful shape and stance...and a subtly rattling diesel engine..
Funny thing the max speed and 0-60 time are very close , but one car's mpg are double the other car's..no prizes for guessing which it is !
Easier to find a Jaguar in Italy than a Ferrari. Ten years since I last drove to your country but I never saw a single Ferrari between the Swiss border and Amalfi!
