Just a note of introduction and hello to all! I just entered the jaguardome with a barn-fresh 1997 XK8 convert I'm bringing back to life. Its smoke with a tan top and interior. Its got 96K on it and runs great after some new computing internals. Still pulling the mouse innerds from under the intake ;"). The more I read about the XKR's the itchier I get about some boost. The AJ engines run really well. Seems to me to be a way to run the CAN, Body control, TCM and other modules off the ECU and bring in a stand-alone ECU so one could fool around with some small twin turbos or hang a big belt drive super off the side. Glad to be part of a great group of folks!
