My name is Danny and I've been lurking on the site for a while so I decided to officially register and join in on the fun! I live in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania and became the proud owner of a black 2003 S-Type 4.2L (non-R) last February after the engine in my Jeep TJ gave up on me. Sadly, that vehicle was totaled in an accident back in August, but I was very fortunate to find (and proceed to purchase) another black 2003 S-Type 4.2L (non-R) one week after the wreck. Since I bought the same exact year, model, and color (except for the interior, first one was tan, new one is black), I bought the wrecked one back from the insurance company as a parts car. The new one isn't perfect, but the issues it does have are few and essentially negligible. Looking forward to offering advice on issues I've dealt with over the past 10 months and on gaining advice for issues that may arise. Thanks for reading! The wreck. I amazingly walked away completely uninjured, as did the other driver.
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Is that the other vehicle involved on fire along the road?
As you've already found your way to the S-Type forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

WOW, Danny,
The fact you and the other driver walked away uninjured speaks to the build quality of both cars, but Especially your Jag.
It's good it gave its life to protect yours.
