Thumbs up Greetings from the desert

It's been a long time since I was part of an owner's forum. The last one I was heavily involved in was contour.org (Ford Contour forum).

Last week I stumbled across a beatiful 2000 Seafoam S-Type (3.0L) with 32k original miles. Carfax was clean. Title was clean. All maintenance records were there. Oh yes, she would be mine! After a bit of haggling I drove her home that evening.

I've already done all the detailing stuff that's most fun when it's over with and you have a cold beer in your hand. Stripping polish, claybarring, polishing, sealing, treating leather, etc. She truly is the belle of the ball.

She isn't perfect, though. There's a bad rear window regulator that needs to be replaced. I'll order the part in a day or 2 when I'm sure I've discovered all my options.

I don't expect to mod her much. Then again, I've been bit by that bug before. Maybe it's hanging out under the driver's seat waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Looking forward to chatting with all of you. Hello again from Surprise, AZ, USA!
