Greetings to everyone
Hi All,
I hope this finds you all healthy and safe. Just wanted to reintroduce myself to the forum members. My name is Mike from Cincinnati OH. I own a 2002 Jaguar X-type with 150k, auto 3.0 base, Phoenix red. Had her since 2005. Camry is my daily driver. I run the Jag twice a week to keep her fresh. I was a forum member back at 80k when I replaced the front suspension. I went through the forum at that time and did all fluids as well. She ran well and has a snappy drivetrain, until I let her sit and made a terrible mistake. Also, I have a neat trick for getting the gear oil into the transfer case. I run US Route 129 in N.C. in the Jag a couple times a year. If you got any questions, just ask.
Thanks everyone, Mike M.

Welcome back to the forums Mike,
I'm sure you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Hello, Mike,
I have heard more than once from people who should know, Jags do Not like to sit unused for any length of time. Your experience shows me that's probably true.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
