Default Greetings from Florida.

Hello, I’m Layne. I am 26 and live in what some might call paradise. I have a passion for cars specifically luxury vehicles that goes back to my childhood. I’ve recently acquired a beautiful one owner 2004 Vanden Plas in slate with dove interior. The car currently has 122,630 miles on it and was originally bought in South Carolina before making its way to southwest Florida. Records show it had been serviced at Wilde Jaguar in Sarasota and has its original literature and even window sticker. I’m impressed with build quality and how solid this vehicle feels when driving. Although it seems the transmission is beginning to slip slightly and occasionally lurches from a dead stop. Hoping it just needs a fluid change. Overall I’m in love with it and plan on keeping it as long as possible.

Layla

Welcome.

Yep, fresh fluid is the "wonder drug" and cures most ills.

Goof luck.

Hello, Layne,
These cars have a mysterious way of making owners fall in love with them. You'll find many if not Most of us feel the same way about our Jags.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
