Greetings Not a new owner but new to here
I have a question - and was hoping I could get it answered here before having to call a salesman. I own a 2015 XF 3.0 AWD portfolio I bought CPO with 8900 miles on it. I have am moving overseas and plan on selling my car. I know the cpo warranty transfers but do I have to do something or does it transfer with the vin? If anyone knows you can save me a trip and call to the showroom, if not - HI anyways and nice to meet all of you.
Welcome to the forum glenroebuck,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
From the Jaguar US website:
"There may come a time when you decide to sell your Jaguar Approved Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle. The new owner will feel assured knowing that the warranty that came with your purchase is fully transferable."
It also states:
"See your local authorized Jaguar (Land Rover) Retailer for complete terms and conditions of the limited warranty and service coverage."
That is exactly what I would do. Jaguar could have amended the T&C's since your CPO was issued and, as with any form of guarantee, assumption is dangerous.
As you are selling the vehicle, I expect you may not be staying with us. If you do, follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-x260-99/ to the X260 forum for help, advice and information.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

- it is cheaper to sell my car and buy a left hand drive jag over the pond than to try and get it over the pond lol-

I did get an answer today - nothing to fill out it simply goes with the car - so if you have a cpo warranty and want to sell your car - the new owner will get what is left of the warranty.
