Greetings from NW Arkansas
Recently acquired a 1999 XJ8 L (4.0) in British Racing Green from my dad. He’s always wanted a Jag and finally bought this one about three years ago. He and my mom recently moved into a retirement community and didn’t need two cars so he gave it to me. Love the car and get lots of compliments on it, surprisingly often from young people at drive-thru’s.
This forum has already been invaluable in helping me with repairs and maintenance that was needed (replaced front and rear shocks along with upper bushings, new front brake pads, brake bleeding procedure, breather orifice cleanout, O2 and knock sensor replacement, MAF cleaning), and I’m looking forward to learning more and hopefully contributing what I can.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
