Default Greetings from sunny Florida!

Hello everyone! Just took ownership of a 16' F-Type R coupe in BRG/Camel. This is the first Jaguar I've purchased and so far it's been a positive experience. I'm a mechanic, so hopefully I can find ways to contribute around here.

Trying to host pictures via my Google photos/drive... any tips? Looks like the bracketed IMG tag just puts up a link. I'd rather not open a Photobucket and have to move my pictures over all the time...

Thanks in advance!

Hello, Ryan,
Beautiful Car!!

I export pictures from my own hard drive if I want to post a picture. I don't know how you would do it from a cloud. And then, it's possible the various clouds have their own rules about import/exporting to other sites.

Anyway, one of the mods will fall by soon, and advise you if they have any more words of wisdom.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Ryan,

It's not a simple answer. Depends on how (device and or mobile option) you are posting to the forum. Check this thread:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/j...es-2418/page5/

Probably best to start at the end and work backwards!

Personal preference but I always upload photos to the forum instead of linking. We have thousands of posts with linked images where the location of the linked image has later been moved by the owner and so the image never appears again.

This was the problem I was having last night. When I try to upload a pic using the "Insert Image" button, I get an upload complete. However, when I preview the post, the image is not there. Is there a post limit requirement before new users are allowed to upload pics?

Thanks!
