Default Grew up around Jags....

....from the age of 3, I "helped" my dad fix every type of Jag. He has the longest running import car repair shop in our town. I'd take naps on a creeper rolled under a 63 E or in the seat of an old XK. Needles to say, I always wanted one. Fast forward to present time, I am the proud owner of a 2004 XKR convertible with 35,000 miles. Not sure I can work on this one, however! Too bad we have real winter here or we would be cruising around every day!

Welcome to the forum.
My jag love affair started with my Dads neighbour and friend who was a jag dealer mechanic and bought the XJ demo cars home and gave us rides in them.

Welcome to the forum ScottXKR,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northwest-64/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

Well done.

Not much ground clearance on an E, just as well you small at 3.

Hello, Scott,
Growing up in Montana, there weren't many Jags around; in fact, I don't remember ever seeing one.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
