Default Hello

My name is Pattie, I'm from Kentucky and just bought my first jaguar about a month ago. She is a beauty, but I have to say she has costed me some money already. It's a 1997 jaguar xj6 L. I have already put a new starter on it, which it goes back in the shop tomorrow because the starter is having problems. Been dealing with it dying when I'm sitting, not giving gas. I just got a transmission leak from the transmission stick line with a bolt at the end. Not had very good luck, so I'm waiting for some. I love the car, she drives like no other. Hoping to learn some things from other jaguar owners. Few have helped me alot already. Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome.

The X300 is a very solid car, and much less troublesome than any othee model from MY experience.

Post your issues in the X300 section, and the answers will flow, so at least you have a heads up with the workshop.

Welcome to the forum Pattie,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks everyone. It is a pleasure to meet everyone. Update: My Jaguar is in the shop for the second time. I will post what is wrong with it on the page that I was directed to. Mechanics can not find a problem with the Jaguar.
