Quite recently I had the good fortune to unearth a stellar 1950 Mark V Drophead Coupe. It had been languishing in a shed on a sheep farm in Medford NJ for the last 40 years I estimate. A 2 owner car, left hand drive but not US spec as it has Trafficators rather than we we in the US know as conventional turn signals.
With slight effort it was soon running quite well, the addition of a new set of tires made it drive as well as it runs. Originally sold to a Doctor in Trinidad, it somehow came to its second owner here in the US in 1964 who is the man I purchased it from.
I am an antique car and motorcycle enthusiast of many years. This is my first jaguar, it shares the garage with many other makes. In 2016 I won best of class at the Greenwich Concours with my 1934 Ford Roadster. Presently I am working on a 1936 Lincoln K LeBarron Bodied 4 door convertible sedan and a 1946 Harley Davidson, I usually have one car and one bike to work on.
It is a pleasure to be here, I am absolutely infatuated with my latest acquisition, the mid 30's styling with 1950's technology.
Cheers!

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. It must have been some shed to preserve the Mark V in that condition!
I can see you've already found your way to the Mark V - Mark X forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
