Welcome to the forums Dadleftforme,

Good to have you with us.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...s-i-ii-iii-16/ to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello,
I freely admit my bias, but I think the Series 2 (yours is a Series 2) is the most beautiful of all the Jaguars.
I wish you success finding a mechanic who will work on something so old. This is why most of us are heavy into DIY.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
