Default Hello!

New to the forum but not quite new to Jags. I've had an X-Type before, and just got an XJR6. Just sold the X-Type because I was tired of the cramped engine bay making work difficult. Just bought the XJR because I saw it while listing the X-Type.

Hello,
Congratulations on your Latest Jaguar! And what a Beauty it is!
A cramped engine compartment making repairs difficult is as good a reason as I've ever heard for upgrading a car.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forums S C Chinchilla,

Good to have you with us. Not too sure you'll find the engine bay much less cramped but it's an excellent excuse for the swap.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/ to find other members in your region.

Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome to the Forums.

I agree with Graham, my V12's had more room in there than the R, hence mine left the fleet.

Good luck, any excuse, as long as YOU are happy.
