Default Hello, all! From Oklahoma City

Hello,
I own a wrecker service in Oklahoma City. I came here looking for information on a vehicle that I currently have, a 1993 Jaguar XJ6.

It was abandoned by the previous owner, and was subsequently towed. It's going to go to lien sale soon, I'm trying to gauge its worth or how rare it is.

Hope I've found the right place!

Bryan

Welcome to the forum Bryan,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Values of older Jaguars can vary considerably around the World but the answer on a non-running, keyless XJ40 (the factory designation for the XJ6 produced from 1986-94) with the windows out is going to be "LOW" almost anywhere.

Follow this link XJ40 - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ40 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

I can see you've already found your way to the USA Southwest Region forum with this question so no need for link to it from me.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks for the welcome and the response.

I could have a key made in order to determine if it runs, but I'm hesitant to put money in it if it's just going to bring a few hundred dollars.

I guess I was hoping that there was a demand for complete cars, for parts if nothing else. The paint is faded, but the interior looks nice. The windows getting broken out is what prompted the apartment owner to finally have the car towed. Before that, it was covered.

These are beautiful cars, but I'm not interested in a project.

I'm pretty sure that the PO went to jail... This is one of a collection of cars he walked away from for whatever reason.
