Hello, and already I owe you my thanks.
Re: XKR convertible 1999.
Hi All
I've been checking out the non-member side of this forum ever since I purchased my first Jaguar, an XKR convertible, (circa: March 1999) in July of this year.
As you can see I've now officially joined today.
Previously as an outsider several older postings have already helped me get though some minor issues that I'd never have worked out by myself so many thanks for that. Sorry I could not thank the posters at the time.
I think it will be a while before I could contribute to any technical requests but maybe my future request for answers to my questions will help others as well.
Regards
Paul.

Hello, Paul,
The whole reason for non-member access is just as you have found; to help Everyone with Jaguar problems. It's good to read you found that provision helpful.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

welcome to the forum - as you have found plenty of info and support here - and as a fellow forum member has said - by far the best tool in a Jaguar owner' tool box.
You've found your way around so no need for links to the XK8/XKR section but check out the UK Regional section for local events/news/etc:
UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Also recommend adding a signature to your profile by clicking the user cp link in the upper left - include model and year so others can provide best replies to your questions
enjoy

Welcome to the forum Paul,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
If you aren't ready to contribute technical posts then one about driving your car would be an excellent alternative. The interminable breakdown threads have me totally depressed.
As you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum, there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
