Default Hello from Estonia

Hi!

I am not sure if I am the right person to join this forum. I do not own a Jaguar, I own a Citroen Xsara 2.0 HDI, which happens to be the worst car I have ever owned. I have spent the past month or so browsing cars on sale and after I saw the Jaguar S-type, I have a hard time looking at anything other than that... I think it's a gorgeous car and definitely something I would like to own in the close future, while I'm still young and can really appreciate it.

I am currently studying for my Master's in Chemistry, so my bills are paid mainly by a couple of science projects (one involving neuropeptides and their effect on the cell, other related to molecular modelling of ligand-receptor interactions). I am 23, from Estonia (that tiny dot on the map between Russia, Latvia, Finland and Sweden), I like cars (although I know very little of them), e-sports (yes, that is a thing these days) and free time (which I don't get enough of lately).

Not sure what else should I add, so I'll just stop typing. Hope to join your ranks with a solid S-type soon!

Welcome to the forum jagEST,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Ownership is not a requirement for membership - enthusiasm is sufficient.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s-type-s-type-r-supercharged-v8-x200-15/ to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/
to find other members in your region.

Hope you are soon able to acquire an S-Type. Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome.

Good idea to get rid of that Citroen.

The S is aweome, and AGE has nothing to do with it, its a JAG and sits well with all ages, haha.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I greatly appreciate the full forum access, although I haven't had much time to browse so far. The search for my S-type continues, the post-2003 choices are pretty poor in Estonia, and I'm still trying to figure out a safe way to buy one abroad. I'm sure I'll get there soon enough.

I'll tidy up my schedule a bit and hopefully have more time to spend on here, too. Looking forward to it.

Tanel,

I had to check which side of the road you drive on in Estonia!

As it's on the right, an S-Type from anywhere in Europe other than the UK will be correct for you.

Good luck in your search.

Graham
