Smile Hello gang

I’ve been using the site for invaluable information (as a non-member!) since buying my 2003 S-type R With 97,000 on the clock soon before the Covid lockdown.
So it’s only right that I actually become a member and then “legitimately” discover all that you guys (and gals!) have to offer.
Looking forward to that!
Cheers

Welcome to the forums Samster,

Good to have you with us.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Much appreciated.
The car has now done 97,000 miles and from documents it came with I can see the “valley pipe” was replaced at 59,000 miles (at a cost of £790). Does it seem likely from people’s experiences that that mileage is average for such a replacement and could I expect to be doing the pipe again in 20,000 more miles?
