Hello and good evening

Just bought a non-running 1983 XJ 6 4.2 This is my first non running purchase and am having some questions as I'm going in fairly blind on what was done prior.

My prior Jaguars include

1976 XJ6L
1980 XJ6
1982 XJ-S 5.3 HE
1984 XJ12 VDP
1987 XJ12 VDP (white)
1987 XJ12 VDP (black)

1969 Daimler DS420
1971 Daimler DS420

Follow Cameron's link to the XJ6 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
