Default Hello! I'm a 1st-time Jaguar owner

Hello,
I have just purchased a 2005 XJR, Racing Green, and love it! It's in practically new condition with 103K miles. The only problems I've found is the cupholders seem to be missing some trim, and the car came without a nav DVD. (Where do I get a nav DVD? Is an authorized dealer the only source?) Thanks!

For Nav DVDs you can take a risk on e-Bay for around $30, or buy the NavTech one instead at a couple of hundred dollars. ALthough I have sat nav, I find a good UK Ordnance Survey map a lot better, because the nav maps have no context information like locations of churches, pubs, etc which are useful when navigating around town. I don't use guidance very much, by the way, as I don't like my music being interrupted.

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
There's something about Jags and cupholders.

You should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome Dean,

Jaguar have struggled to make a robust cupholder for years! Head over to the X350 & X358 section for info on repairs.

Enjoy the XJR. BRG is a proper colour for a Jaguar.

Thanks Everyone! I decided to order the DVD from Navteq, so I know I'm getting the right product from a reliable source.

Great looking vehicle. Loadsof information here to get it in tip top condition.

When the coffee and cars of Charlotte returns, maybe we can meet up as I am in the Fort Mill area.
